Hvítserkur is a 15 meter high basalt stack on the eastern shore of the Vatnsnes peninsula. The location is popular for seal watching as hundreds of seals often lie on the sand beach almost all year round. As an added bonus the rock Hvítserkur stands only 100 meters from the shore.
