Borgarvirki is a natural phenomenon and historical site which is worth paying a visit. When standing up on the fortress the view simple doesn't end.
Kolugljúfur, canyon of Kola, is located in Víðidalur by the farm Kolugil. In Kolugljúfur you will find the gorgeous waterfall called Kolufossar. It is only 10 minutes drive from the main road to the waterfall.
